Spring Hill Cares (SHC) is a special branch of the Spring Hill PTO whose purpose is to offer support to both families and faculty members of our school community who find themselves in need during difficult situations. It may be during a time when they are dealing with an injury, sickness, death of a family member, or sudden loss of employment or home.
Our SHC parent volunteers provide support by coordinating meals for the family in need. SHC can also assist with services such as grocery shopping, transportation, donations of clothing, yard work, or other assistance deemed appropriate depending on the situation.
Spring Hill Cares also celebrates momentous occasions in the lives of our staff, such as marriage, the birth of a child, or retirement. SHC provides small gifts in celebration of the event.
All donations and activities of Spring Hill Cares Volunteers are provided anonymously whenever possible. This allows recipient families to maintain their privacy and accept help in times of need without feeling burdened to thank the donors.
