Back to School Checklist

Be ready for a great year at Spring Hill Elementary, stay informed and get involved in our PTO community!  Here are the important links to get you started on the right paw.  

STEP 1 – Join the PTO & Stay Informed

We invite every family to be a part of the PTO. With your $20 annual dues, you’ll receive a copy of our printed school directory, access to the online directory, priority registration and discounts on after school programs, and discounts on select PTO-sponsored events and programs. Visit our PTO Shop to register and pay your dues.

Social media and email are the PTO’s primary means of communication. Be sure to follow us on Facebook(@SpringHillPTO) and Instagram(@springhillelepto). The Spring Hill PTO Newsletter “The Scoop” is sent by MailChimp every Wednesday during the school year.

Sign up for PTO communications. Visit the PTO website at springhillpto.org and follow the instructions on our homepage to subscribe to our emails. 

Accept emails from AtoZConnect and MailChimp. Please add these vendors as valid communication channels.  If you have not received The Scoop or an email from AtoZ regarding data validation within the first 2 weeks of school, please check your SPAM folder and accept these emails to receive future communications.


STEP 2 – Update Directory Information

AtoZ Connect manages our private student directory for the exclusive use of Spring Hill students, parents and staff. An updated directory site is here for the 2023-2024 school year, so you must visit this year’s site to create a new account (if you’re new to Spring Hill) or update your account (if you are a returning Spring Hill family).

To access the AtoZ Online Student Directory, visit our site to create/update your account for your family:  https://springhillpto.membershiptoolkit.com/home

Click “Register/Login” once on the homepage.  If you are new to Spring Hill, please click “Create a New Account” and you will be prompted to create your new account. If you are a returning Spring Hill parent, please log in with the email address/password that you set up last year and follow to prompts to to update your family’s information.

STEP 3 –  Donate to the Panther Fund

Where FCPS funding ends, Spring Hill families leap in! DONATE TODAY!

The Panther Fund is Spring Hill PTO’s direct donation fundraiser that allows our community to sponsor programs and make investments that enhance our children’s educational experience.  In the past, we’ve invested in items such as laptops for every student, leveled reading textbooks, and musical instruments. We also sponsor programs such as cultural arts presentations, field trips, and STEM programming. These are not funded by the county, but we believe they are important benefits for our children.

STEP 4 – Volunteer

Show your Panther Pride and share your time and talents with us.  In addition to playing a vital role in the programs and activities offered to our community, being part of the PTO is a wonderful way to meet other parents, get to know our school teachers and administration, and give back to our school.
