6th Grade Party

Due to the impact of COVID-19, Spring Hill Elementary is CLOSED through June 12. All PTO programs and events for the remainder of the year are CANCELLED. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to anyone on our Executive Board Team.

Spring Hill has a wonderful tradition of celebrating the completion of elementary school with the 6th Grade Party. It is an exciting and special daylong event to commemorate our students’ time at Spring Hill ES before they move onto middle school.

The 6th Grade Party will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, and registering your child is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

During this day-long celebration, the students will wear their “Class of 2020” t-shirts, play outdoor games, race “toilet” scooters, attempt to drench teachers and staff in the dunk tank, eat a picnic lunch, dance to the jams of the DJ in the beach-themed gym, pose for silly photos in front of the green screen, and guess “who’s who” in the baby photo contest. The graduates will end the day watching a touching slideshow filled with memories and photos from their time at Spring Hill.

6th Grade Party Tickets = $35/student

This fee covers the cost of lunch, entertainment, shirts, games, and decorations for each student. Tickets are all-inclusive and non-refundable.  You must purchase a ticket to participate in the activities.  No partial payments will be accepted.

Each student MUST purchase a party ticket to participate.  Purchase tickets ONLINE in the PTO Shop or click the link below. In order to complete your purchase, you MUST choose a t-shirt size for your child.  These “Class of 2020” t-shirts are included in the price and will first be worn for the 6th Grade Philadelphia Field Trip in May.

STEP 2 – Sign-up to Volunteer

We need Parent Volunteers!

The 6th Grade Party Committee is busy planning this exciting event, but we need YOUR HELP to make it an enjoyable and memorable event for the graduating students.  From decorating the gym the day before to helping run games and events at the party, there is something you can help with if you have time to be there in person.

We also need donations of fruit, chips and desserts so if you cannot help in person, or even if you can, please consider signing up for food.  The numerous time slots and options are contained in the link and there is an opportunity for everyone to help in one way or another!

Click on the button below to sign-up to Volunteer and/or Donate for the 6th Grade Party:

STEP 3 – Submit/Upload Photos

In the envelope provided to each student at school, please send ONE 4”x6” or smaller photo of your child taken BEFORE they turned three for the “Name that Face” Baby Photo Contest.

Students win prizes by matching the most classmates’ names to their adorable baby photos during the party. Detailed instructions are included with the envelope. If you did not receive an envelope, please email springhillpto6thgradeparty@gmail.com with your child’s name and homeroom teacher ASAP.  Photos are due by Friday, April 3rd to be included in the contest.

If you have taken some great photos of your child and friends at SHES, please upload them for the Class Slideshow.  The Slideshow Committee has a goal of making sure ALL 6th grade students are represented. This is OPTIONAL but we need your help to make sure this happens.  Please note: not all photos will be used and all photos must have been taken at SHES or on a SHES related field trip any time from kindergarten to sixth grade in order to be included.

Click on you student’s homeroom teacher’s name to upload photos that can be used for the slideshow. Uploaded photos by Friday, May 15th.

We look forward to celebrating all of our Spring Hill Elementary School children ending their precious elementary school years on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.
