Chess Club – Outside School Activities

2023 Fall Registration

Class Description: Chess Club offers something for players of all skill levels. No experience is necessary. Students learn strategies to learn how to plan ahead, to value their material and to distinguish good ideas from bad ones. They learn to see things from more than one point of view.

Day/Time: Fridays from 3:45 – 5:15pm

Location: Cafeteria

Open to Grades: 2nd – 6th

Teacher: US Chess Center

Dates: September: 29; October: 6, 13, 20, 27; November: 10, 17; December: 1, 8, 15; January: 5, 12, 19 (13 sessions)

Cost: $125 PTO Members/$140 Non-PTO Members

Registration is open to all students, with priority given to active PTO members (2023-24 dues paid). Families can join the PTO by paying $20 annual dues, which applies to all programs for the year.

PLEASE NOTE: You can only register one student for a class at a time. To add another student, return to the shop to add another item to your cart.

Registration is open from Wednesday, September 13th, 5PM through Wednesday, September 20th at 10:00pm. LATE REGISTRATIONS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.
